Spiro is a warm, caring, consummate professional. My husband and I recently purchased a single family home in San Jose the old fashioned way--by getting a loan! We were referred to him by our first real estate agent and were impressed at how thorough he was and he and how easy it is to work with him. In terms of ease, Spiro has an electronic system that provides lists of the documents needed and allows you to upload those documents. The system is very user friendly (you can remove documents or preview them) and I found this system makes the process efficient, seamless, and most important - easy! Spiro is easy to talk to, explains things in a way a non-financial person can understand, and takes the time to make sure you're comfortable. My husband was especially grateful that Spiro took the time to explain all the financial options and the pluses and minuses of those options. For example, we were planning on putting 25% down but after Spiro showed my husband that our monthly mortgage wouldn't change, talked to us about refinancing down the line, and explained a few other points, my husband thought it wise to put 20% down instead. This is giving us extra cash on hand that we need for incidental expenses that arise. Spiro gave us the best rate and all the other real estate agents and other professionals we needed to work with were impressed by Spiro and took his number to pass onto their clients. Spiro goes above and beyond in many ways but I will give one example. The seller's real estate agent called Spiro late in the night on the day offers were due, to ensure we were financially solid. When other offers are primarily cash, needing a loan put us at a disadvantage, even though our offer was higher. Spiro spoke to the agent and assured her we were going to quality and the process would go smoothly. We are so grateful for his help, guidance, and support and now consider him a friend. I enthusiastically recommend Spiro and his team to anyone looking for a loan.
